The PL Band will be performing Labor Day weekend Saturday at the Firestone Roasting House in Wilmington, DE. This is always a great show and what a great venue right on the riverfront. Make plans now and make sure you have a rockin’ but safe holiday. Also, we know the summer is winding down but the PL Band is gearing up with shows throughout the fall including the Unicity Festival at the end of this month. Can’t wait to see you at a show. Peace!
The summer is quickly coming to an end and PL will finish it out with a handfull of acoustic shows and one special appearance. Catch PL on Friday the 20th in Quantico, MD, just along the Wicomico River, as he plays the Green Hill Country Club. Then on Saturday PL heads to the first state and will be your MC for the 2010 Peach Festival in Middletown. The last weekend of August PL treks out to Northern Virginia to play Vintage 51 in Chantilly on Friday then hits Warrenton on Saturday night. Hope to see you at a show!
Paul Lewis’ upcoming CD is nearing completion. The yet to be titled CD which is being produced by Lance Davis and was recorded at Racetrack Sound Studios in Philadelphia are in the final stages of mixing. The label is planning for a summer release.
It is long over due, but the new record is in its final stages. All the mixing has been completed and mastering is being done as we speak. A single will be released and will hit the airwaves and internet very soon. A tour is also in the works for the new release. Keep checking the web site for updates and tour dates.
I am very excited about this record. I was able to just be an artist for the first time since Y-NOT!? recorded A Thrilled Voice. It was a great experience being able to collaborate with other artist, writers and producers. I’m also looking forward to playing with my full band again. This recording is one of the most creative projects I have ever been a part of and I’m excited to get it out to the fans who have been patiently waiting for the follow up to THS. Hold on, it’s almost here!
